We sell scripts according to rules like those that govern the distribution of computer shareware. For a fee of £25 sterling, any amateur group may purchase a copy of the script in Microsoft Word format (although if you require it in another format, please let us know). As soon as we have received your payment we will send your chosen scripts immediately via e-mail. You may then make as many copies of the script as you need provided that every copy bears our copyright notice. You may also adapt the script to suit the needs of your group. The fee covers you for unlimited performances in any one season (not necessarily the current one). Feel free to pass on the un-edited script to other groups and individuals (who must, of course, pay a fee before they are free to stage the panto). Overseas customers, please note that our bank charges an extortionate £4.25 for deposits in currencies other than pounds Sterling. Some get around this by sending a banker's draft, others have sent traveller's cheques and one lady sent five pound notes (not something we'd recommend). We don't yet take credit cards but we are evaluating several services, although most of them incur charges that would exceed our annual income! |
